Respect for intellectual property

The AI Commons Consortium respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects members, contributors, and users of our platform to do the same. We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe that content on the AI Commons Consortium website or platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it on the platform.
• Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-notice

If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its location before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, to any jurisdiction where AICC may be found.

Repeat infringers

AICC may terminate accounts or access for users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.
