This policy sets out the rules and expectations for using the AI Commons Consortium website and services.

Purpose

The AI Commons Consortium platform is a shared space for governments, enterprises, researchers, and professionals to collaborate on responsible AI. This Acceptable Use Policy ensures that all users interact with the platform safely, respectfully, and lawfully.

Permitted use

You may use the platform to:

  • Access public information about AICC programs, research, publications, and events.
  • Engage in professional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking.
  • Manage your membership profile and institutional affiliation.
  • Register for or participate in AICC events, working groups, and initiatives.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use the platform to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, or harassing.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with AICC.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or malicious code.
  • Scrape, mine, or harvest data without authorization.
  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation unrelated to AICC activities.
  • Engage in activities that compromise platform security, performance, or reliability.

AI-generated content and research integrity

Members are encouraged to share research, insights, and resources that advance responsible AI. All content should be accurate, properly attributed, and consistent with the AICC Code of Conduct and ethical standards for AI research.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access, removal of content, or other actions deemed appropriate by AICC. We may also report illegal activity to relevant authorities.

Reporting concerns

If you observe conduct that violates this policy, please notify the Secretariat at secretariat@aicoommonsconsortium.com.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
